August List Challenge: Day 3 – Favourite Biscuits

jaffa cakes1. Jaffa Cakes — When I was young, I used to nibble off the chocolate with my teeth, then eat the sponge, then the jelly. Now I just chomp the whole lot in two bites. And balls is it a cake. It’s a biscuit. Clearly.

2. Chocolate Digestives —   Classic. A bit boring? Well, maybe. But at least it’s not a plain old digestive; they don’t even deserve to be called biscuits.

3. The Fig Roll — Massively underrated, this is my favourite ever biscuit. And while you’re stuffing them into your gaping maw, you can kid yourself that they are healthy. Because, y’know, fibre and stuff.

About allpastmidnight

Hi, I'm Alison, I am a mid-thirties mum to two children, Little Man and Wee Girl. Wee Girl is pre-verbal and has autism, while Little Man is the sort of happy chatty little guy who gets into everything and sings at the top of his lungs — until the moment he makes eye contact with a stranger and he goes silent. I am cynical, sweary, and a bit disorganised, and I blog about parenting, ASD, food and just about anything else I can think of. Feel free to follow me on any of my social media. I can also be contacted by email at allpastmidnight [at] outlook [dot] com.
