Weekly Meal Plan: 16/08/15 – 22/08/15

Meal plan all past midnight autism parenting blog tomato salad

The joint of beef we had on Sunday was amazing. It was a rolled rib of beef, which we picked up from the butchers and it was glorious. We cooked it very simply and served it with some homemade Yorkshire puddings (first time we’ve made these from scratch and it won’t be the last, believe me, as they were so simple to make).

The leftovers we managed to stretch to two more meals, sloppy joes from Save With Jamie (which I didn’t list in last week’s meal plan for some baffling reason) and Korean rice, also from Save With Jamie. My husband also made spaghetti Bolognaise, which also wasn’t on the meal plan.

I still haven’t got around to making the Jamaican Corn stew, so that’s rolling over onto this week’s meal plan.

Mediterranean marinated chicken with roast new potatoes and salad

White chocolate and raspberry rice pudding

Monday
Leftover spaghetti bolognaise

Tuesday
Jamican corn stew

Wednesday
Fish, chips and mushy peas

Thursday
Leftover Jamaican corn stew

Friday
Burgers, chips and salad

Saturday
Minestrone soup with homemade bread

    • It’s definitely worth doing, although it’s taken blogging about it every Monday to actually get in the habit. Try to join the link up — there’s lots of good ideas over there and it’s fun seeing what everyone else is having.
